Our Team
Mary Elizabeth
Manager
An extremely vital component to Laura’s team is her sister, Mary Elizabeth, who manages the business. She also started riding with her mother, Carol Kent, at a young age, and spent her junior years riding and showing. She has worked alongside Laura for her entire life and is responsible for the smooth operation of the barn, horses, and employees at home and on the road.
Julie Welles
Rider
Julie is currently riding and showing horses for Laura. She has enjoyed great success this past year, including many wins and placings during WEF 2009 and also in Europe throughout the summer. At Hickstead, she won the first leg of the Young Riders Derby on Calapuno.
Julie had an extremely successful junior career as a working student for Missy Clark. In 2005, she won the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search (East) and WIHS Equitation Finals, was 3rd at the USEF Medal Finals, and 5th in the ASPCA Maclay Finals.
